The Wind River area offers some of the finest hunting in the west. Game is hunted primarily on horseback operating out of two main camps; one on the Blue Holes Creek and one tent camp on the Big Red Creek.

The hunts are 5 days long including meals, lodging, guides, packing, and horses. Each party of hunters is limited to 2 people. Hunters provide rifles, sleeping bags, and personal gear.

Elk is hunted in area 69, mule deer in region E areas 128 and 129, and antelope in area 84. (see rates and contacts)
